No music festival Cross Rhythms in:fusion to be held this year
THE COMMITTEE of the annual Christian music festival Cross Rhythms in:fusion have announced that there will be no event this year. The event, held at Drewstown House, Co Meath, Southern Ireland, has in the past attracted crowds of almost 1,000. The committee issued the following statement, "We see this break very much as a time for reflection and strategy, the need for which we had all been aware. With the team working in a voluntary capacity it leaves little time to pause and re-focus, listen to God and gain new insights while simultaneously organising the festival. We realise that many people may be very disappointed because the festival has become a high point in the year. However, we are certain that this is the right course to take for the present. The world is changing at an ever increasing pace and the need to be culturally relevant in organising youth events is paramount. The in:fusion committee recognises this coupled with the call to always present the Gospel and teachings of Jesus with clarity."
