Jimmy & Carol Owens' musical Heal Our Land to play Britain

PLANS are well under way to bring the latest musical by California's veteran composers, Jimmy & Carol Owens, to Britain. On 12th September around 200 church leaders attended an abbreviated version of the musical at Moggerhanger Park, Bedfordshire. The event was set to raise awareness of the musical. Guest contributors at the event included Lady Susie Sainsbury, Rev Dr Clifford Hill and Denis Wade (formerly of R&B gospel group The Wades). A promotional 'Heal Our Land UK' DVD featuring endorsements from Rick Warren, Jack Hayford, Pat Boone and Jean Darnall was also distributed. A Heal This Land book is being jointly written by Jimmy & Carol Owens and Clifford Hill.

Jimmy & Carol Owens rose to prominence in 1972 with their international Christian musical hit Come Together. Other successful works were 1978's The Witness and the Grammy nominated children's album of 1981, 'Ants'hillvania'. CR
