Casting Crowns become fastest-selling new artist of 2003.

ATLANTA-BASED adult contemporary band Casting Crowns have become the fastest-selling new CCM artist of 2003 and have garnered a number one hit on several Christian charts in America. The band's first single "If We Are The Body", from their self-titled album on new label Beach Street has created unprecedented interest on US radio. Said a programme director in Chicago, "This song has such powerful lyrics that you can't help but be compelled to examine your life. It's refreshing to have a song like this that really connects with listeners." CR
