New Attractions For Fest

THIS YEAR'S Cross Rhythms festival 'Breakthrough' has announced additions to its growing bill of ministry and music including James Mawdsley and MIC. James Mawdsley rose to media prominence after being sentenced to 17 years in a Burma jail for peacefully drawing attention to that country's genocide against ethnic minorities. He will be giving a seminar at the event, to be held in Okehampton, Devon, on 20th to 22nd July.

South Africa's MIC, now sporting a new lineup, will be making their third consecutive appearance at the festival. A last minute addition is renowned Hillsongs musician and pastor David Reidy. David will be ministering with a team of musicians from the famed Australian Hillsongs Church.

Other additions to the music bill are American Jesus Music pioneers Liberation Suite; Jamaican reggae gospel man Stitchie; Scottish alternative rock band Superhero and Welsh rapcore team Kosher. They join a growing list which also includes Germany's Normal Generation?; Ireland's Johnny Parks; South Africa's Louis and Edna Els; Australia's Mai Fletcher and David Evans and England's Escapade The Called. CR
