CJM Music release 'Imagine A World' by Rolinson
A GROUND-BREAKING ministry bringing contemporary music and renewal to
the Roman Catholic Church, CJM Music, has been launched with a
songbook and CD. The ministry CJM Music have just released 'Imagine A
World' by Rolinson, Boyce & Stanley and a songbook Rejoice 'n'
Sing. CJM was started by three experienced Christian music figures.
Chris Rolinson is well known in evangelical circles for being a
founder member of Heartbeat, making solo albums - both instrumental
and vocal - for Word and Kingsway and for leading worship at Spring
Harvest. Now a teacher at Our Lady And St Chad's School in
Wolverhampton, Chris was received into the Roman Catholic Church
earlier this year.
Jo Boyce was recently featured in the Times
newspaper for her work in bringing contemporary music to the Catholic
liturgical tradition. She is currently based at Coleshill with the
Department Of Religious Education.
Mike Stanley is a well known
pop and roots musician who has recorded several albums, worked
extensively as a youth evangelist and musician and played the Cross
Rhythms Festival. He was also a member of Irish folk bands Drowsy
Maggie and Shenanigans. Mike has nearly completed a degree in theology
at the Maryvale Institute For Religious Studies.
The 'Imagine A
World' album was launched at a Rolinson, Boyce & Stanley concert
at the Crescent Theatre, Birmingham on September 22 before a sell-out
audience.
