2005 to see Christians around the world joining together in praise initiative.

A CALL TO Christians for a million hours of praise will be launched in January 2005. Catherine Brown, the founder of Gatekeepers Prayer And Mission, is calling on Christians around the world to join together in an initiative of praise. She said, "It's not an event, but an encounter on a global scale with Jesus. It's an exciting opportunity for every tribe, nation and culture to unite under the banner of Christ's love and blitz the earth with praise and worship. When the Church begins to dream the way God thinks, his presence will transform the whole earth, touching hearts and transforming lives."

The Million Hours Of Praise website hosts a praise bank and a praise calendar. Individuals and churches from around the world are invited to sign up and pledge one hour (or more) of praise. As part of the Million Hours Of Praise vision, June 25th has been marked as a global day of praise. Believers around the world are being invited to hold special praise events. On that day 75,000 people will be gathering in Berlin's Olympic Stadium with British worship leader Noel Richards for a concert of praise. CR
