Nashville fourpiece MikesChair to release Curb debut
HAILING from Belmont University in Nashville, new fourpiece MikesChair have their self-titled album released by Curb in July. The group's sound is described as a "blend of soulful rock guitars and bass grooves, violin and electronic textures tagged with catchy pop sing-along choruses." Explaining the band's name, lead guitarist Sam Tinnesz said, "The 'chair' was the central gathering point where we got our start. As freshmen at Belmont, we all lived on the same floor of our dorm except for Mike. Since he was always hanging out with us on our floor, we decided to get him a piece of furniture to make him feel a little more at home. The chair was his only piece of property on our floor." Mike wrote his name on that chair in big letters and it soon became his place of inspiration for songwriting and creative flow. The band name "is a reminder of our humble beginnings and how far God has brought us."

Love that song, "Let the Waters Rise!"
I hum it often, and think on it's meaning.
It has helped me through a most difficult time.
Thanks and Blessings!
