'70s disco diva Melba Moore releases gospel album 'Nobody But Jesus'.
R&B AND disco diva Melba Moore, who enjoyed major hits in the '70s but in the '80s underwent a highly publicised divorce from her manager husband which left her emotionally and financially bankrupt, has returned with a gospel album. The project, 'Nobody But Jesus' on Lightyear Entertainment, consists of new songs mainly written by Herb Middleton and the husband and wife team of Shirley Murdock and Dale DeGrot. The project also features gospel standards such as "Take My Hand Precious Lord" and "What A Friend We Have In Jesus". Melba appeared in last year's movie The Fighting Temptations.
