Iona's Joanne Hogg talks about new 'MAPS' project
THE SINGER with Celtic fusion band Iona, Joanne Hogg, has spoken about her plans for a new solo project. "During the past year and a half I seem to have encountered many individuals who openly admitted to feeling quite lost and without direction in life. I found myself thinking again of the parables and miracles idea [I'd had some time back] and the concept of the MAP project just seemed to shout itself into my creative conscious thoughts. They are the MAP. . . the miracles and parables. It's a good thing to have if you're searching for the way. Jesus Christ, the son of God, is both the way and the treasure. . . So I began to produce the MAP project. There are seven songs so far and I've begun recording piano and vocals and then tracking drums and bass with Terl Bryant and Phil Barker. Cello and guitar recording is planned in the next few weeks."

Joanne,I wish I could sojourn with you personally ,but now that I "stumbled" across MAP,I will journey along and pray for you to feel HIM close .
