James Steven heads up new MA course at Kings College, London
AN MA COURSE for worship leaders has been launched by Kings College, London. The MA In Contemporary Worship builds on the success of the MA in Youth Ministry and Theological Education. 10 years ago Kings pioneered postgraduate study for Youth Ministers. The recent trend for churches to employ worship leaders means that there is now a need for a similar kind of theological education which is specifically focused on the theology and practice of worship. Kings have appointed James Steven as lecturer in theology and ministry and he will be the director of the MA In Contemporary Worship. James has been lecturer in worship at Trinity College Bristol and he is the author of Worship In The Spirit: Charismatic Worship In The Church Of England (Carlisle: Paternoster Press, 2002). The MA In Contemporary Worship has been designed with input from Tim Hughes and Al Gordon from Worship Central.
