Kelle Bryan talks about leaving Eternal, struggles with illness
ONE TIME member of pop hitmakers Eternal, Kelle Bryan spoke to The War Cry recently publicising her appearance in the Cinderella pantomime in Telford. In the interview she spoke about how in 1998 she was asked to leave the group in a letter faxed to her house. "It wasn't the way you want to be told information like that. And then I got really poorly. So everything collapsed around me, though thankfully I have supportive friends and family who saw me through."
The singer went on to speak about her contracting SLE - systematic
lupus erythematosus, a chronic condition which attacks the body's
immune system. "Although I was in extreme pain and it was a very
trying time for me, it developed my faith and relationship with God.
It was probably the most intimate time I spent with him. God really
started to speak with me and change me."
