Jonas Brothers' 3D movie causes stir in London
THE PREMIERE of the new film featuring mainstream stars the Jonas Brothers brought hundreds of screaming teenage fans onto the streets of London yesterday. The fans had gathered to glimpse their heroes at an advance showing of The Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience in London's Leicester Square. The movie comes out in the UK on 29th May and as well as the Jonas Brothers stars Taylor Swift. The film, which has already been released in the US, has captured the second biggest debut for a concert film after Disney stablemate Miley Cyrus. Said The Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience's producer Kevin Jonas, "We wanted [the fans] to experience what it would be like to go to our show, and get the perspective of being on stage with us, that's why it's in 3D. I think for us, we wanted to have the best time we could, so we really wanted to put as much of our personal life - as much of our on stage life - as we could."
The band have previously starred in a movie musical, Camp Rock, which told the story of a summer camp for aspiring young music artists and a pop star who was sent there to re-discover his passion for music. They are due to start shooting a sequel this autumn. The band are also set to release their new album, 'Lines, Vines And Trying Times', on 15th June. Nick explained they chose the title as a "poetic thing" they came up with. "We started to hear those three words, or that phrase, in a lot of the songs we were doing."
