Southern gospel singer Ira Smith dies aged 77

SOUTHERN GOSPEL singer Ira Smith of Lakeland, Florida died on 25th February following a lengthy illness. Ira had bass singing tenures with The Dixie Echoes, The Blackwood Brothers and Little Jimmy Taylor & The Premiers.
