Phil Keaggy returns to form the Phil Keaggy Trio

GUITAR VIRTUOSO Phil Keaggy has joined forces with drummer John Sferra from Glass Harp and keyboard player Jack Giering to form the Phil Keaggy Trio. The group's 'Inter-Dimensional Traveler' is described as featuring "12 brand new tunes ranging in sonic vitality from Traffic to Booker T & The MGs to Jeff Beck, with an eclectic mix of guitar styles." The album title, taken from one of the project's songs, is a rumination on the fine line between the dimensions of life and death. It was penned by Jack Giering, who has survived a series of heart attacks as well as an emergency tracheotomy which robbed him of most of his voice. Said Keaggy, "Jack literally came back from the dead. He has a perspective on the journey between the dimensions of life and death that I don't." 'Inter-Dimensional Traveler' is issued by Strobie Records.
