British independents make chart in US
ONE OF the most listened to Christian radio programmes, Uncle Samoo's Zoo on America's East Coast on WITR-FM, a secular station with up to a million listeners, has acknowledged the strength of British independent artists. In their Import Artists chart for July 31st the number one spot is taken by 'Whatever Is' by Scotland's radical worship team Land while other UK independents charting are 'Rewind' by TVB (number 5) and 'I Can Preach It' by Paul Poulton (number 6).
