ONE-TIME member of the pioneering vocal group The Imperials, Pam Morales-Dietz, died following a car accident on 27th August. In the 42 year history of the group, Morales-Dietz, sister of founding member Armond Morales, was the only female singer to perform with The Imperials and contributed vocals on two Star Song albums, 'Big God' (1991) and 'Stir It Up' (1992).

Oh my gosh! I’m shocked to find out that Armond’s sister, Pam left us due to the car accident. I’m sorry to hear it and my deepest condolences. I’m originally from East Coast for Jesus Ministries in Riverside, NJ and the Imperials use to come every year and throwing blow out concerts. I miss them truly because they blessed us all. To this day, I still listen to their music and reminisce about all of good times. My prayers go out to Armond and his family and the rest of the Imperial members. Love Sherina Shine
