British turntablist DJ Yemi featured on gospel mix CD

THE FIRST album in a planned series of authorised gospel mix CDs by Britain's DJ Yemi is set for release by Set Apart Records. The project, 'DJ Yemi Urban UK Gospel Mix Vol 1', promises to "create the continuous blend of gospel tracks similar to how a club/party DJ would mix his tracks for a crowd." Vol 1 consists of popular party tracks and unreleased material from contributing artists. Said DJ Yemi, "I've made a number of gospel mixes in the past comprising of UK and USA gospel artists and judging by the way that UK gospel has grown over the years, as well as the sizeable fan base that I have in terms of the mix CD series, it makes sense to show peeps how hot gospel music is, in particular when you give it the mix and blend treatment."
