Geoff Mann Band, Jonathan Day And Eye Of The Storm, Brussell Spaceship and the Electrics, (A full list of the artists appearing is on page 10 of this magazine.)
Special innovations at this year's festival include a 'Rave Praise' evening, presented by Croydon-based multi media outfit Last Daze, an extensive programme for mums, dads, and children, with a crèche running through the festival, a heavy metal afternoon featuring the best of metal and thrash and a Folk Roots evening with the live debut of 'Celtic Praise'.
Cross Rhythms festival will also feature numerous speakers, including Ian Traynor, Tony Fitzgerald, Dave Roberts, Graham Perrins, Bruce Oliver, Gary Streeter MP, Chris Cole and Tony Cummings.
The Cross Rhythms Festival is also to be the venue for a unique talent-search entitled New Rhythms. 30 of the best Christian bands and solo artists who are currently submitting demo tapes to the magazine, will be invited to perform at the festival. The winner will appear at the Big Top and win a recording and management contract. Cross Rhythms, which expects to attract up to 5,000 campers and day visitors is committed to evangelism and biblical teaching. Cross Rhythms Festival organiser Chris Cole explained: "Although last year's festival was financially a washout, with heavy rain wiping out a whole day, the Lord moved mightily and many young people were touched by the Holy Spirit and committed their lives to Christ. That is why, after prayer, we, and the Devonshire churches are going ahead with this year's event."
