Andrew Peterson cuts album on the theme of Heaven.
MUSICAL storyteller Andrew Peterson has a new album, 'The Far
Country', released in the States on 30th August by Fervent Records.
The project examines the subject of Heaven and was co-produced by
Peterson and bandmate Ben Shive with help from Andrew Osenga
(Caedmon's Call). Like his previous albums, the new project includes
hammered dulcimer, bouzouki, piano, mandolin and acoustic guitar.
Featured on the project is popular vocalist Jill Phillips, bassist
Danny O'Lannerghty (Rich Mullins's 'Liturgy'/'Legacy'), percussionist
Ken Lewis (Michael Card) and bluegrass fiddler Stuart Duncan (Emmylou
Harris). Motown gospel singers Anklejelly Jones and Jimmy
Hoyt-Washington are also featured on the album.
