Warryn Campbell undergoes operation; Mary Mary pull out of UK concert

THE HUSBAND of Mary Mary's Erica Campbell, record producer Warryn Campbell was rushed into hospital on Friday 18th April necessitating the cancellation of Mary Mary's appearance at the He Lives event in Bolton, UK on 26th April. Warryn was diagnosed with a form of kidney cancer which resulted in an emergency operation to remove one of his kidneys at a hospital in Los Angeles. The operation was successful and the producer is expected to make a full recovery over a six-week period.

Said Dr Emmanuel Olatoye, senior pastor at Calvary International Ministries and the organizer of the He Lives event, "Our prayers are with the Campbell family during this time. It's never easy when you see someone go through a difficult unexpected period like this but we trust in God's healing power and know that Warryn will be 100 per cent."

The He Lives event, with such acts as GForce, Roger Samuels, Witness, HARP and Mighty 'n' Seyi, will still take place with all those who bought tickets to see Mary Mary being offered concessionary priced tickets for when the Mary Mary concert is re-scheduled later this year.
