American singer/songwriter Jennifer Knapp retires from music scene.
POPULAR Christian singer/songwriter Jennifer Knapp has decided to leave the music scene. Joey Elwood of Gotee Records told Billboard, "She ultimately less and less enjoyed that process for some reason. It just became less of a love for her and she was sincere enough to not take people's money." Elwood said those situations taught him that "you can't base your business on just your successes, you have to base it on the entire picture. We weren't prepared for that and learned a lot."

i definantly start gettin to tears when i hear that song Hold Me Now an The Lament it breaks me down, and it makes me frustrated that someone who touched so many, in God's will, has just walked away. Im not mad at her just sad that we have no follow up or anything as to where seh is. even if she hated making music she still said seh wanted to write a book and stuff, she is still touching people, we just wish it was sith new music. i luv her to death. my relationship with christ was shaped because of her words and lyrics and voice and testimony, and the first christian artist i had in my album collection. my fav album was The Way I Am! Just wish where she was was revelaed or seh would say hi, to her beloved fans, which ultimatley was her ministry, thousands upon thousands of teens, adults, and people, and God gave her the tools , talent , and Holy Spirit to impact, wish she stilll was around. luv jen!
