Whitney Houston adds praise to the growing reputation of Kim Burrell

THE REPUTATION of gospel jazz diva Kim Burrell continues to grow Stateside. Recently she sang at the BET Honors TV programme on which mainstream star Whitney Houston said, "If I were to say Kim Burrell is the greatest living singer in the known world, who would argue with me?" In recent times Burrell has lost more than 100 pounds in weight after deciding to change her lifestyle after three heart attacks, the latest one being just over eight months ago. CR

Nice of Whitney to say, but Whitney Houston is the greatest living singer in the known world. Hands down. Burrell gave a wonderful performance. But Whitney....no comparision! Whitney is the greatest!!
