After a five-year hiatus The Material return with new EP
LOS ANGELES-based rock band The Material have returned after a five-year hiatus with an EP. 'Gray States' is released on 18th May and was produced by Colin Schwanke (State Champs, With Confidence). The Material released four EPs and two full-length albums and toured with acts like Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Every Avenue before taking a break in 2014. During the hiatus, lead singer Colleen D'Agostino co-wrote a Platinum certified single on the Grammy-nominated album by electronic producer deadmau5. Now the original three members of The Material and one new addition are back with 'Gray States'. Read a press release, "The music and lyrics are emotionally charged with longing, thanks and regret; the title referencing a feeling of being stuck somewhere between the light and the dark."
