AMERICA'S 10 year old independent music distributor and online retailer, Grassroots Music, has been sold to Western Entertainment, a move that has generated accusations of unpaid artists, according to numerous web postings. Western bought the assets and the Grassroots name while not taking responsibility for Grassroots' debts, leaving hundreds of independents unpaid. CR
