ALONGSIDE the five Grammy Awards given to professing Christian Beyonce at the Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles on 8th February, a number of Christian music artists also received awards. The winners were: Best Rock Gospel Album, 'Worldwide', Audio Adrenaline Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album, 'Worship Again', Michael W Smith Best Southern, Country or Bluegrass Gospel Album, 'Rise And Shine', Randy Travis Best Traditional Soul Gospel Album, 'Go Tell It On The Mountain', Blind Boys Of Alabama Best Contemporary Soul Gospel Album, '.Again', Donnie McClurkin Best Gospel Choir or Chorus Album, 'A Wing And A Prayer', TD Jakes And The Potter's House Mass Choir.
Said Audio Adrenaline's Mark Stuart, "After five nominations we never thought we would have the honour of winning a Grammy, but once again we are blown away by God's faithfulness," while TD Jakes said, "It is an awesome honour that the Potter's House Mass Choir has been acknowledged for their musical excellence with the Grammy win and we look forward to propelling more artists to the front of Christian music."
