THE 47TH Grammy Awards, held in Los Angeles on 13th February, gave out several awards to Christian music artists. The winners were Best Gospel Performance: Ray Charles & Gladys Knight, "Heaven Help Us All" from the album 'Genius Loves Company' (Concord/Hear Music) Best Rock Gospel Album: Third Day, 'Wire' (Essential) Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album: Steven Curtis Chapman, 'All Things New' (Sparrow) Best Southern, Country or Bluegrass Gospel Album: Randy Travis, 'Worship & Faith' (Word) Best Traditional Soul Gospel Album: Ben Harper & The Blind Boys Of Alabama, 'There Will Be A Light' (Virgin) Best Contemporary Soul Gospel Album: Smokie Norful, 'Nothing Without You' (EMI Gospel) Best Gospel Choir or Chorus Album: The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, 'Live.This Is Your House' (INO).
