Blessthefall speak out about religious fashion items
PHOENIX-based hard rock band Blessthefall have returned with a new album, 'Witness', on Fearless Music. The project features new lead singer Beau Bokan with the first single from the project "God Wears Gucci" attracting some controversy due to the similarity to the band name The Devil Wears Prada. Speaking about the "God Wears Gucci" song guitarist Eric Lambert said, "The song's talking about how religion's become like a fashion almost. Being a Christian myself, I hate seeing kids wear rosaries or crosses or anything for fashion. They don't really believe in what it stands for so it's really making a mockery of what I believe in. It's kind of about how people are fake when it comes to religion."
