iTunes release Ginny Owens live EP, full DVD planned.

BLIND singer/songwriter Ginny Owens has released a live four-song EP through iTunes. The release is a prelude to 2005's planned live DVD for Rocketown Records. Following a year of touring across the USA, Owens and her band recorded the tracks during a DVD shoot in August at the New Orleans House Of Blues. Amongst the songs on the EP is a cover of the Lenny Kravitz hit, "Let Love Rule". Said Ginny, "I couldn't be any more excited to be partnering with iTunes on a project. I love that they make music so readily available to listeners, and I'm one of the many who wouldn't know what to do without my iPod. Besides all that, we just mixed this EP a couple of weeks ago-the turn-around time in the digital world is incredible!" CR
