George Hamilton IV tours UK; sets international releases
HAVING undertaken a major British tour in February, America's veteran country music crooner George Hamilton IV returns to the UK in May. His first concert is at Stroud on 11th May and concludes on 20th May.
George is set to release two CDs in the spring of 2010. While in Ireland, Hamilton completed the vocals for the upcoming gospel CD project with County Armagh's Live Issue for an album also featuring such veterans as George Beverly Shea, Cliff Barrows, Pat Boone, Connie Smith, Marty Stuart, Ricky Skaggs, Bill Anderson and the late Slim Whitman. Recordings for the project took place in studios on both sides of the Atlantic. Also due for release is an album Hamilton recorded in Poland with award winning local country rock group Colorado Band and his son, George Hamilton V. The tracks for this CD were laid down in Lodz, Poland and Nashville, Tennessee.
