Freddie Kofi wins British Academy Song Search award.

THE INDUSTRY organisation The British Academy Of Composers And Songwriters has announced that Midlands gospel singer Freddie Kofi is the first winner in its Contemporary Christian category of Song Search UK. The other categories in the search are pop, contemporary pop, rock/guitar, ballad, easy listening and country. Freddie's winning song "Kiss" will be included on a cover-mounted CD in Music Week, the UK music industry's trade publication. CR
