IN WHAT independent observers are calling its strongest ever bill, mainland Europe's top Christian event the Flevo Totaal Festival will take place on 18th to 21st August in Flevo, Holland. The bill for the event includes White Heart, Julie Miller, Newsboys, Sixpence None The Richer, Schulze, Trace Balin, Darrell Mansfield, the Sparks, Jerusalem, Buddy Miller, Nina Astrom, the Electrics, the Choir, Whitecross, Dakoda Motor Co, Phil Keaggy, Steve Taylor, Pam Thum and Rick Elias. Top American CCM band White Heart will be filming a live video at Flevo. Among the speakers to contribute to the four-day event which takes in performing arts, film, art exhibitions, sports and a Sunday morning service are Steve Miller, author of the recent book The Contemporary Christian Music Debate'; Michael Roschak, a Russian deacon who works for European Bible Association and Cross Rhythms editor Tony Cummings. 8,000 to 10,000 people are expected to attend the event.
