1992 Cross Rhythms festival breaks even.
WHAT ORGANISER Chris Cole described as "another astonishing example of God's provision ensured that the 1992 Cross Rhythms Festival in 10-12 July broke even financially. The event held at Clyst St Mary, Devon County Showground and featuring artists such as Eden Burning, Last Daze, Caroline Bonnett and Brussell Spaceship attracted a smaller crowd than expected.
Steady rain kept the attendance down to below 2,000 and £5,000 looked likely to be the size of the deficit. But gifts from churches and individuals ensured there'll be a Cross Rhythms in 1993. Said Chris Cole "We made some mistakes in the organisation and we will be radically rethinking the sitting for next year. But it didn't stop God from using the event and touching hundreds of lives. We really feel next year could be a breakthrough year for Cross Rhythms."
