Long delayed acoustic album by JJ Heller to get October release
AMERICAN singer/songwriter JJ Heller, who has regularly made the Cross Rhythms playlist, is set to release her fourth album 'Deeper'. The acoustic project was initially set to release in 2009, but JJ's song "Your Hands" became a hit record through the TV programme So You Think You Can Dance? and the release of the album was delayed. Several songs on 'Deeper' were re-tracked in a more polished style and became a part of JJ's CD 'When I'm With You', which appeared on many Best Of 2010 lists. Now, on 11th October, 'Deeper' will finally be released, with five acoustic versions of songs from 'When I'm With You', four unreleased tracks from the original 2009 recording sessions, and three brand new songs that were recorded in May of this year. Mitch Dane (Jars Of Clay), a frequent collaborator with JJ, produced, mixed and engineered Deeper at Sputnik Sound in Nashville, Tennessee.
