Gospel rapper Corey Red refused entrance to UK by immigration officials
AMERICAN gospel rapper Corey Red, who'd flown to the UK for the launch of his latest album by Birmingham-based Music 4 Life Entertainment, was refused entrance by Heathrow immigration officials and had to fly back to the USA. Music 4 Life was founded to counter the spiralling negative messages of mainstream hip-hop. Said founder Tony Morrison, "We wanted today's youth to have mainstream access to a different way of thinking in a language they can relate to. Recent debate on better role models, particularly within the urban culture has only served to highlight the desperate need for this mission. It is ironic that Corey was deported for the only reason that immigration officers did not believe he was who he said he is and what he came to do." In the US Corey Red has spoken at the Pentagon in Washington DC and preached in colleges and high schools.

... and 50 Cent can breeze in and out of Britain as he likes! Where's the justice in that?
