Gareth Edwards departs from Welsh hard rock band Axlanbay.
IN A SHOCK development Welsh hard rock band Axlanbay have parted company with their lead singer Gareth Edwards. The break took place on 5th February. On the band's website the group announced the singer's departure. "Gareth has been with us since day one, and has been a much loved member of the team. We all wish Gaz every success for the future, and want to say a public thank you for his valuable contribution to Axlanbay's success. Gareth has some personal reasons for his departure for the band, but feels he no longer shares the same vision as the rest of the team for the future of Axlanbay." The release of the double A side single "Break The Mould" and "Rough" on Backslang Records has been postponed and the remaining band members are now in discussion about the future of the group.

Axlanbay is a thing that is on my ipod. I saw those guys in the Boarderland With Caroline Alexander ( a band my friend was in) Never forget the how they laid some smack down on the stage. I was thrilled and got myself a demo CD. Highlight of my night. Like I say...Still a staple on my ipod.
Wow, this is awesome. I am the Edwards that left the band.
