Songwriter and singer DeVaughn Murphy dies aged 33
THE SONGWRITER, singer and worship leader DeVaughn Murphy, best known for writing songs for such artists as his brother Pastor William Murphy III, Tasha Cobbs, Vashawn Mitchell, Shekinah Glory and Tye Tribbett, has died. The 33 year old was born in Detroit and first came to notice with the group Rock Nation, formed with his twin brother, DeJaughn. In 2014 DeVaughn released the single "Let Us See Jesus" and earlier this year recorded the song "We Will Worship" with renowned production team PAJAM. The single will now be released on 11th August; a portion of the proceeds from the single will go towards Murphy's wife Khia Murphy and the Vaughn Murphy Foundation.
