Daniel Amos celebrated with special edition of 1987 album
AN ALBUM acknowledged by several critics as one of the greatest in Christian music's history, 1987's 'Darn Floor - Big Bite' by the band Daniel Amos, has been re-released as a two CD special edition. Said the band's lead singer and songwriter Terry Scott Taylor, "When I look back at all my records I think I am proudest of this one." Disc one contains a remastered version of the album featuring such songs as "Return Of The Beat Menace", "Pictures Of The Gone World" and "Darn Floor - Big Bite" (with a lyric derived from a phrase communicated in sign language by Coko the gorilla whose zoo had experienced an earthquake). Disc two features demos, live recordings and interviews with band members. The package is available from the band's website.
