Rev Rob Frost and Paul Field make Dangerous Journey a sell out
THE LATEST musical in the hit-making partnership of Methodist evangelist Rev Rob Frost and singer/composer Paul Field is a success with most of the 24 venues for Dangerous Journey, loosely based on the spiritual classic Pilgrim's Progress, selling out. The creative partnership enjoyed unprecedented success in 1999 with Hopes And Dreams, from whence sprang 'The Millennium Prayer'. Dangerous Journey features a Jerry Springer-like Mr Worldy Wiseman, a Slough Of Despond made of silicon rubber latex and the appearance of puppet lions. The music includes a Celtic setting of the Bunyan classic 'Who Would True Valour See?'. The show kicked off in Staines on October 28th and ended at Bedford on November 27th. Paul Field has produced a new album for the production, released by ICC.
