Abundant Club in theological controversy
THE ABUNDANT Club's
record label DBass has continued its problem-fraught progress. After
the theological controversy concerning the label's Synergy album for
its Matthew Fox (dodgy theologian) samples and the
advertised-but-not-released 'DJ Disciple And The Abundant Club' album of
mainstream singles remixed by the legendary New Yorker (licensing
problems); the launch at Greenbelt '96 of the third DBass album
'Global Transmission' by Leeds techno duo Ikon was hampered by singer
Rachel Modest leaving keyboards/producer Paul Cooper just as the album
was released!
