Hip-hop and bluegrass fuse with Georgia-based band Whosoever South
A NEW genre of music, "country crunk", is promised by Southern Georgia-based band Whosoever South. Their debut album 'Goin' Home' is produced by Asaf Fulks (Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne) and is said to combine "street savvy influences like TobyMac and Lecrae with country and bluegrass styles similar to the T Bone Burnett-produced 'O Brother Where Art Thou' soundtrack, for an unconventional but infectious bass-thumping sound that serves as the catalyst for a dynamic ministry." 'Goin' Home' is released by Pitbull Productions on 14th May.
