Grammy winning Celtic band Clannad record first album in 15 years
SPECIALIST world music label ARC Music are releasing a new album with Grammy award winning Celtic band Clannad. The project will be the band's first new material since 1998's 'Landmarks' and the first material recorded with the full original line-up since 1989's 'Past Present'. Siblings Moya, Ciaran and Pol Brennan began recording this week and the band are planning an extensive worldwide tour to coincide with the new album. ARC Music's artistic director Julia Beyer said, "The new album will delight Clannad's fans as well as winning them new ones." The new project is due to be released in September 2013.
