'80s Johnny Cash album sees light of day
AN ALBUM that the late country music icon Johnny Cash recorded in the early '80s with hit Nashville producer Billy Sherrill, 'Out Among The Stars', which was subsequently shelved, has finally been issued by Sony Legacy. In a review MOJO magazine wrote, "Cash wrote just two of the 12 songs and, duets aside, they are some of the strongest: 'Call Your Mother' is about a broken marriage and 'I Came To Believe' about a broken man finding God."
