Company launched to help the Christian music scene
A NEW British company has been launched "to eliminate the inert image
that is hindering the UK Christian music scene." Promotential, based
in Wirral, is the brainchild of Ronnie Femihough and Jamie Caulfield
and are involved in tour and concert promotion as well as taking on
board PA and lighting advice, administration and management
activities. In April and May Promotential are organising a national
tour for Chris Eaton and this will be followed by tours for Helen
Jayne in June and America's Tony Loeffler And The Blue Angels in July.
Said Promotential's Jamie Caulfield, "Our aim is to get the Christian
music scene going again in Britain."
As well as full-scale tours,
Promotential are working as a booking agent for individual artists
such as Noel Richards, Breakspear and Capitaan. The latter are being
managed by Promotential and have recently been signed to ICC who are
releasing the band's debut EP 'Driftwood' in February. Promotential
have already successfully organised concerts for Capitaan in Holland
and the band will be playing Holland in May.
Said Ronnie
Fernihough about Promotential, "A great amount of prayer and
deliberation has gone into this project. We know God has called us to
do this, after all, who in their right mind would take on a task like
this? We are determined to break the current unproductive pattern in
the industry and provide artists with an honest approach. We feel
confident that we can offer an integration of honesty and
professionalism to heighten the profile of Christian music in the UK
when networking with promoters, managers and artists."
