The Nashville CCM industry seems to promote black gospel history

EXTRAORDINARY how myopic the Nashville CCM industry can be about black gospel history. According to a story in the industry's CCM Update, the Rejoice! label, which has just been reactivated, launched the careers of Shirley Caesar, the Mighty Clouds Of Joy and Al Green. I'm sure such labels as Savoy, Duke/Peacock and Hi would be interested to know it was Word Music s Rejoice! who did all that groundbreaking work in the 50s and 60s? CR
