Metal man Michael Bloodgood of the band Bloodgood to speak at Meltdown.

THIS YEAR'S Metal Meltdown, the premier teach-in event for Christian metal enthusiasts will feature America's Michael Bloodgood of top US band Bloodgood as its main speaker.

To be held at the new venue of The Quinta Christian Conference Centre at Western Rhyn, near Oswestry on 12th to 15th November, the event offers seminars, a concert, workshops and the first ever Battle Of The Bands Competition, the winning band being offered studio time by top metal producer Paul Hodson.

Metal Meltdown are also organising a special meeting explaining the validity of Christian metal ministry. Amongst the speakers participating in the event, which will take place in Halesowen near Dudley on 17th October, is Clarian Management director Dave Williams and artist Rodney Mathews.
