Natasha Bedingfield's 'Pocketful Of Sunshine' album hits US charts
THE MODIFIED version of her 'NB' album, 'Pocketful Of Sunshine', has become a major US chart hit for Britain's Natasha Bedingfield, debuting in the album charts at number three, selling 50,000 copies in the first week of release. Also, the single "Pocketful Of Sunshine" has gone into the singles chart at 65. Said Epic president Charlie Walk, "Natasha's success here is sending a statement around the world. She's taken this opportunity to carve her own success as both a singer/songwriter and a pop star." That success is also translating to a number of licensing deals, with tracks from 'Sunshine' appearing prominently in episodes of MTV's The Hills and movies like 27 Dresses.
