American singer/songwriter Sandra McCracken visits UK, releases album on Shell.

NASHVILLE-based singer/songwriter Sandra McCracken has her first UK release out on Shell Records, the label owned by Dave Robinson (who co-founded the seminal new wave label Stiff Records in 1976). Sandra's 'Best Laid Plans' follows on from two independent releases in 1999 and 2001. McCracken played London's Borderline Club in late June. CR
