Southern gospel's Wilburn & Wilburn now down to a solo Jonathan Wilburn

Back To A Solo

THE FATHER and son duo Wilburn & Wilburn, whose last album ' Shoulders' produced two number one songs "You Asked Him To Leave" and "It's What He's Done" on Southern gospel's Singing News Radio Charts, will no longer record and tour. Jordan Wilburn has decided to step back from the intensive tour schedule to focus on his young family. His father Jonathan Wilburn will continue to travel and record as a solo artist. Said Jonathan, "I have had the pleasure of enduring many changes in my career - nothing stays the same. With every change there is an opportunity to do something different and new. There is nothing like family. I enjoyed every minute travelling with my son for the past several years before it was time to enter into a new season." Jonathan is currently in the studio working on a new solo album 'God & Country' to be released in the autumn. CR
