Philippa Hanna aiding Haiti with new download single
POPULAR British singer Philippa Hanna has released a single through iTunes with all royalties to go to Haiti relief administered by the Compassion Emergency Aid Fund. Philippa told Cross Rhythms how she and Grammy Award winning songwriter Eliot Kennedy had come to write the song "Ave To Love". "Eliot came up with some beautiful lyrics and the next thing I knew I put the song in my set for my tour of the UK. I went down really, really well and now it's been recorded and I'm really thrilled about getting some money out to Haiti." Bryan Adams and Eliot Kennedy won a Grammy in 2008 for the song "Never Gonna Break My Faith" by Aretha Franklin and Mary J Blige.
