American pop rockers Audio Adrenaline retire after Mark Stuart experiences throat problems.
NASHVILLE-based pop rockers Audio Adrenaline have announced they will be disbanding. The decision came after the band's frontman Mark Stuart had experienced problems with his voice. After consulting with doctors it became clear that the medial situation would prevent his ability to continue to tour. Said Stuart, "15 years of rock 'n' roll takes a toll on the vocal chords, but I wouldn't trade a day of it for anything. Touring and making records with Will, Ben and Tyler has truly been a gift from God, as well as worshiping night after night with the greatest fans on the planet."
The band recently completed a US tour plugging their 2006
Grammy-nominated 'Until My Heart Caves In'. Over the years the band
have sold over three million albums and had 18 number one radio hits.
A farewell album, 'Adios', is now being planned. The greatest hits
package will include two newly recorded songs with a special edition
DVD featuring all Audio
Adrenaline videos, live performance footage and new band
interviews.
